Towering 410 feet above the city, it dominates the skyline like a royal guardian. Its massive stone walls seem to grow out of the hill itself, and within those walls lies a world that has watched over centuries of kings, wars, music, and devotion.

There are few places in India that can make you feel both humbled and inspired at once. Mehrangarh Fort, rising like a guardian angel over the Blue City of Jodhpur, is one of them.
